Third-party marks and logos
Team names, team logos (Vitality, Natus Vincere, FaZe Clan, MOUZ, etc.), the names “Counter-Strike”, “Steam”, and any reference to competitions (“Cologne Major”, “CS Major”, etc.) remain the property of their respective owners (Valve Corporation and the e-sport organizations concerned). Their use on the Site is strictly editorial and implies no affiliation, partnership or endorsement.
Peekd PickEM is not affiliated with Valve Corporation or with the organizers of the tournaments mentioned.
4. Personal data
Authentication on the Site uses the Steam OpenID 2.0 protocol. As a result, the Site collects:
- Your Steam identifier (SteamID 64)
- Your public Steam display name
- The URL of your public Steam avatar
These data are required for account functionality and the public leaderboard. No other personal data is collected. No password is requested or stored. Your predictions and score are publicly visible on the leaderboard and on your shared profile page.
Pursuant to the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to contact@peekd.gg. Your account and all associated data can be deleted on request.
5. Cookies
The Site only uses a technical session cookie (peekd_session) and a temporary
post-authentication redirect cookie (peekd_returnto). Both are strictly necessary
for the Site to function and do not require prior consent (Article 82 of the French Data
Protection Act).
No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are placed.
6. Liability
The publisher strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information but cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any information published. The Site is provided “as is” and use is at the user's own risk.
7. Governing law
This legal notice is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
